6 linear motors, 1200 N, move the east louvers. The PV louvers in the south area are reliably moved into position by 3 linear motors, 5000 N.

Sun protection guided by the position of the sun by means of tailor-made photovoltaic louvers, optically suspended above the water basin, energy supplier and eye-catcher on the south facade. The DGNB Platinum Awarded Building, with the highest score in the category of educational buildings, places the highest demands on comfort, energy efficiency and environmental protection, as reflected in the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) criteria catalogue.


Nevertheless, the PV louver system on the south facade appears to be floating. The solar tracking system ensures optimal energy generation and shading and prevents mutual module shading. Frameless special modules made of glass laminates, held in filigree clamp holders, show PV facade technology in a class of its own. Perfect module design, integrated cabling, silent operation, to name just a few features. An extraordinary business card for the Energy Campus. System output approx. 10.3kWp.
