Conception of louver control, louver sun protection for northeast and southwest facades. Manufacturing, delivery and commissioning of the louver control system, type Elconeq Concept, as control cabinet version.

7 linear motors, 1200 N, move the vertical northeast louvers. 9 drives of the same type operate the southwest area. The motor banks are divided according to the office segmentation and motor groups are grouped together accordingly. All motors can be operated manually by blind push-buttons to increase user comfort.

External sun and glare protection and facade design. This unique solution acts as an extraordinary eye-catcher on both long facades. Visually, the glass louvered facade, which is movable and designed as a vertical louver concept, dominates. The zoning is based on the office segmentation. Users have access to the louver position at any time. Creation of a balanced ratio of highly effective sun protection, daylight and partial transparency. The colour of the louvers blends in with the bronze-coloured Alucobond facade cladding. Movement mechanics and motor functions are accessible but visually concealed. Motor and movement mechanisms are acoustically decoupled. Movement noises are therefore hardly perceptible.

System

The object-specific unishad-GL solution from UNIMET consists of screen-printed laminated safety glass. The combination of grey and clear glass improves both heat extraction and glare protection. The choice of screen printing (dot design and colour) was made after multiple sampling rounds. The vertically arranged louvers move automatically based on proper sun tracking. The balance of heat shield, glare protection and partial transparency is outstandingly balanced. Glare protection and partial transparency are actually mutually exclusive and are often achieved by two different systems. The terrace area was equipped with over 1m wide louvers. Additional functions of the control ensure operational and personal safety at all times. The regular louvers have a width of 600mm. Backlash-free louver seating is achieved by precision manufacturing of the individual components.
